Participants
  • Using Grade during the 2011-2012 School Session
  • Who May Attend: Any boy or girl 1st Grade to 12th Grade who would like to improve their Hitting & Baseball Position skills while having fun in the process.
  • Camp Format: Players will be divided into groups by Grade. Groups will rotate to various stations including Hitting, Fielding, Defense, Bunting, and Base Running fundamentals.

Camp Times & Check In

  • Grades 1st - 5th ( 9am - 12pm Both Days ) - (Includes T-Shirt)
         Check-In will begin 30 minutes before camp at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.     

  • Grades 6th - 12th ( 1pm - 4pm Both Days ) - (Includes T-Shirt)
    Check-In will begin 30 minutes before camp at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Camp Provides
  • Staff to player ratio 1 to 10
  • Camp Souvenir (T-Shirt) after the 2nd Day of camp instruction.

What to Bring
  • Cleats
  • Glove
  • Baseball uniform or other proper attire
  • Bat / Batting Helmet (if you already own)
  • Catcher's equipment (for catchers)
  • Sweatshirt or warm jacket
  • Liquid Beverage (water, sports drink)

Instructors

 
Derek Waddoups – Head Assistant Coach and Director of Recruiting at Salt Lake Community College. Previously coached at the University of Brownsville in Texas. Played and coached at College of Eastern Utah and Bellevue University in Nebraska. Roy High School (Roy, UT).

Chris Shelton - Currently Hittin Coach at Cottonwood High School.  Has played with the Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers. Played at the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College. 2004 Arizona Fall League Most Valuable Player. Cottonwood High School (Salt Lake City, UT).

Tony Pezely - Former Coach at Salt Lake Community College, Dixie State College (St. George, UT) and Taylorsville High School (Salt Lake City, UT). Played at Dixie State College and Northwestern State University. Taylorsville High School.

Jory Jensen - Pitched 4 Seasons with Utah Valley University (Orem, UT). Mountain Crest High School (Hyrum, UT)

 

Camp Policies

  • Refund/Cancellation Policy
    90% refund - Cancellation 10 or more days prior to Camp
    75% refund - Cancellation 3 to 9 days prior to Camp
    No refund - Cancellation less than 3 days prior to Camp
