Location: Frozen Ropes - North Salt Lake City, Utah (670 N. Redwood Rd.)
Individual Fee: $70 (Two Day Session)

Sessions-1: 1st through 6th Graders - 9:00 AM to Noon (Both Days)
Sessions-2: 7th through 12th Graders - 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Both Days)

Camp Info / Check In

Who May Attend: Any boy or girl ages 1st through 12th graders who would like to improve their baseball skills and have fun in the process. Players will be divided into groups by grade.
Check-In Procedure, Session-1: Check-In will begin 30 minutes before camp at 8:30 AM on Tuesday
Check-In Procedure, Session-2: Check-In will begin 20 minutes before camp at 12:40 PM on Tuesday

Staff to player ratio 1:8

What to Bring

Gym Shoe / Turf Shoe (all stations are indoors - No Cleats)
Glove
Baseball uniform or other proper attire
Bat / Batting Helmet (if you already own)

History & Format

3rd Annual Holiday Hitting & Defense Camp This is the1st Year for the Holiday Hitting & Defense Camp to be held at the Frozen Ropes facility in North Salt Lake. For 2 years prior the Camp was held at the Salt Lake Community College. Due to the high demand for our Holiday Camp Hitting & Pitching Camp in Utah County, a second location has been added in the northern Utah area.

Format: Players will be divided into groups by age. Groups will rotate to various stations including hitting (cage work, soft toss and tee work), fielding, throwing mechanics, arm strengthening, pitching, & speed and agility training.

Camp Staff
Chris Shelton - Currently the 1st Baseman for the Texas Rangers. Played at the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College. 2004 Arizona Fall League Most Valuable Player. Cottonwood High School (Salt Lake City, UT).
Jason Crawford - Currently Coaches at Salt Lake Community College. Coached and played at Mesa State College (Grand Junction, CO). Cyprus High School (Salt Lake City, UT).
Jed Jensen - Played professionally in the United Independent League. Played at Utah Valley State College (Orem, UT). Mountain Crest High School (Hyrum, UT).
Gorman Heimueller - Played Major League Baseball with the Oakland A's and San Francisco Giants. Has 30 years professional baseball experience. Was a Major League Baseball pitching coach for 16 years. Currently the Minor League Pitching Coordinator for the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Zach Stott - Currently plays professionally with the Cincinnati Reds organization. Played at Dixie State College (St. George, UT). Logan High School (Logan, UT).
Nate Gold - Currently plays professionally in the Texas Rangers organization. Played at Treasure Valley Community College and Gonzaga University. Viewmont High School (Bountiful, UT).
Ryan Zimmerman - Currently plays professionally with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization. Played baseball at Salt Lake Community College. Played Quarterback at Southern Utah University. Mountain Crest High School (Hyrum, UT).
Wick Udy - Played professionally with the Seattle Mariners organization. Played at Dixie State College (St. George, UT) and at the University of Utah. Box Elder High School (Brigham City, UT).
Dave Disorbio - Played at the University of Utah. Currently the strength and conditioning coach at Salt Lake Community College.

No refund - Cancellation less than 3 days prior to Camp
